During the course of the exhibition opening for Emodes of Research, CamLab performed six 6-minute demonstrations of relational objects made from found materials. The performances took place in the “Night Alcove,” while the objects themselves were displayed in the gallery’s other (unmodified) recess.
Supported through the Innovation Grants program of the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Center for the Arts, CamLab staged a campus-wide iteration of our Reguarding Room project at the University of Houston in Spring 2018.
CamLab's book Reguarding CamLab launched at the 2017 Printed Matter LA Art Book Fair, featured in the artbooks @ Hauser & Wirth booth. The book includes essays by Catherine Wagley and Tracy Jeanne Rosenthal.
We were thrilled to "Herb J" and DJ for Michael Parker's Steam Egg at Armory Center for the Arts in August 2015. Our scent and audio selections were mother-themed, in honor of Jemima's pregnancy.
